Rainbow Children’s Village – RCV

RCV is a partnership between Roundtable Zimbabwe, Meikles Foundation and KidzCan Zimbabwe. This is a home for disadvantaged children recovering from/going through cancer treatment and a parent/caregiver, where free accommodation and meals are provided.

A first of its kind in Zimbabwe and with the generous support of Pick n Pay and a generous donation in 2021 from John Moxon, Meikles Group and other donors Phase 1 was completed and opened in February 2023 with 5 rooms and Phase 2 with an additional 11 rooms will be ready for occupation in March 2024. Since the opening, up to 31 December 2023 the RCV has been home to 64 patients, recording a 77% occupation rate.
