Imvelo See & Smile

The annual See & Smile project was once again a resounding success. The joint CSR TM PnP and Meikles Foundation partnership program has provided support for this project since ???, with the provision of food produce.

The project sees dentists and eye specialists from Spain and Italy team up with local healthcare providers to deliver mobile clinics in rural impoverished communities around Hwange National Park.  This year 3 300 optical patients were attended to, 1 750 of them received prescription glasses, 2 500 received sunglasses while 300 cataract patients were identified for cataract surgery performed by a local team, later in the year. 

1,877 dental patients receiving almost 3,000 treatments (fillings, root canal treatments or extractions) and 334 children receiving fluoride.

From inception in 2011 to 2023, 40 000 patients have been treated.
