The Blanket Project

Thanks to a kind donation of wool and knitting needles from an individual in the UK, prisoners at several of Harare’s prisons were encouraged to produce colourful blankets which would be sold to raise funds.
These works of art have now been completed and will be sold at a suitable forum.
The production process brought pleasure and purpose to several prisoners and allowed them to contribute positively to society.
The initiative was also taken up by members of a parish in Hatcliffe Extension where in a church made of plastic sheeting, Pastor Abel was conducting his services. Since then Miracle Missions has stepped in to persuade a group from China to build a brick & mortar church and home for the Pastor.
